Meeting information

The annual association meeting was held on April 27th at 11:00 AM. There were 12 attendees at this meeting. Thank you to those who attended and participated. The next meeting will be held at Shoner Park on June 4th at 6:30 PM, please mark your calendars and plan to attend.



Membership Drive

Remember to turn in your membership dues! Currently, we have 20% of all memberships turned into the treasurer. We need your help to continue the up keep of the park and facilities. Annual membership dues are $25.00 or $15.00 for seniors. Again, we need your support to continue improving our community. Just some of the services you will receive by becoming a member are:

  • Representation in the city government
  • A well maintained park to enjoy!
  • A monthly newsletter to keep you informed!
  • Christmas with Santa for children ages 12 and under!
  • Easter Goodies for children ages 6 and under!
  • The annual Association garage sale!


  • Board Member Changes

    During the annual meeting there were a few changes in the board members:

  • Kris Mountfort will be the representative for district 6
  • Deb Chivington will be the new Treasurer
  • David Hart volunteered to be Vice President
  • Sherry Elward was nominated for President


  • Thank you to all the board members for the volunter work and their interest in the community.



    School's Out

    It's that time again. Keep this in mind while driving through the neighborhood. PLEASE discourage children from playing in the street. Also, DRIVERS, please watch your speed and keep an eye out for children. Thank you for your immediate attention.



    Theft

    As summer time approaches, more kids are walking around late at night. Please be aware, and lock your personal belongings up. If you see or know of anyone stealing or vandalizing private property, please report it to the Fort Wayne Police Department at 427-1222, or contact Sherry Elward at 489-2683.



    City Weed Ordinance

    Please remember to keep up with your lawn care. Many of the yards are looking beautiful, and your neighbors are very grateful. City weed ordinance states that grass and weeds should not exceed 9 inches in height.



    Pavilion Rentals

    The pavilion will be available to rent after april 1st, weather permitting. One day rental cost for members is $35 and non members $65. There will also be a deposit of $35 that will be refunded after return of the keys and an inspection. To reserve the pavilion, contact Sherry Elward - 489-2683.
